Summary | This course aims to acquaint postgraduate students with what have come to be seen as the key issues in the debate about the parameters, nature and scope of art and theory in the late 20th century. The course will concentrate on key writers, some of whom may be regarded as mainline art historians, others figures from cognate disciplines who have had a considerable influence on the methodology and development of the subject. |
