Learning Outcomes
History of Art 2 consists of two semester units but each semester unit is also designed so that it can be taken as an independent course (BY VISITING STUDENTS WHO ARE VISITING FOR ONE SEMESTER ONLY). The objective of the course is to enhance the knowledge and skills of students who already possess a basic familiarity with the discipline, and to broaden their knowledge of the history of art. Overall, the four semesters of History of Art 1 and History of Art 2 have both a consistency in the structure of the teaching and a sense of intellectual development. Together they prepare students for the demands of more specialized 3rd and 4th-year Honours teaching in the History of Art.
