Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course the student the principles and application of specialist science relating to the physiology and pathophysiology of blood cell development, the biochemistry of blood cell storage and of haemostasis.
The student should understand and be able to apply the regulations and requirements for Good Manufacturing Practice and Quality systems as used in Transfusion, Transplantation & Tissue Banking, and the theoretical and practical tools used to implement and monitor.
Students will also be taught presentation skills during this course
