Learning Outcomes
The student will be taught the skills, and application of these, required of a manager, in particular in relation the healthcare scientists working in Transfusion, Transplantation & Tissue Banking. Specific instruction will be given in time management, delegation, motivation of staff, coaching, mentoring and training.
The use of these skills in problem solving, operational planning, change management and team building will be addressed and communication skills will be further developed along with approaches to personal development planning.
