Summary	This course is the third of four essential Family Medicine courses focused on building the skill base for Family Medicine practitioners working in rural poorly resourced regions. This course will refresh students in the skills and essentials in the management of women's and children's health in a resource poor primary care setting; alongside building knowledge and core competencies in adult renal, metabolic problems and haematology. The course will build a knowledge and skill base for effective identification and management of common paediatric problems in a systematic, problem orientated way. Students will also cover common presenting illnesses in family medicine including diabetes, bleeding disorders and anaemia.
