| Summary | This course is the first course studied by students on the PGDE Primary Programme. It aims to help students begin the process of constructing their professional identities as teachers. It does so by developing a pedagogical subject knowledge base focused on early years education and encouraging students to become members of a professional community of enquiry. This involves study of both Professional Studies strands and Curriculum area strands, as well as undertaking collaborative problem based learning tasks. |
