Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete the course should be able to:
- demonstrate detailed knowledge of at least three of the Confessions, the City of God, On the Trinity, and On Christian Teaching;
- discuss intelligently their Late Roman historical context;
- successfully contribute formal postings analysing the course texts to the course weblog, and comment intelligently and graciously on the postings of others;
-demonstrate an ability to identify key terms and their meanings;
- demonstrate good judgement about how to judge the relative importance of items on course bibliographies.
