SummarySynopsis
This course is designed to encompass studies undertaken either within ECA or on internship. Students work on a series of projects and are encouraged to collect and analyse research that is creatively informed and critically aware, and develop creative concepts through integrated iterative processes incorporating making, evaluating, presenting and reflection.


Aims
1. To enable students to develop, and critically appraise, a body of clearly defined project material that communicates a progression of ideas and an awareness of contemporary creative practice and user/audience needs.
2. To develop advanced creative methods, techniques, approaches, materials and processes, exploring how practitioners personally conceptualise briefs.
3. To enable students to begin to position their personal practice within the discipline, exploring a range of appropriate design methodologies and strategies for the professional presentation, exhibition and documentation of work, as appropriate.
