On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Discuss the common medical conditions and their medical management
- Explain the impact on oral health of these chronic medical conditions
- Be aware of, and be able to diagnose the oral manifestations of systemic disease and know how to liaise with medical colleagues accordingly
- Describe contemporary clinical guidelines and protocols for the medical management of oral disease
