| Course description |
The aim of this course is to develop understandings of self and to explore the idea that the self can be understood in the context of present and past relationships with others. Experiential and conceptual exploration of the meanings of the terms 'self', 'other', and 'relationship' will be explored within the person-centred approach and psychodynamic perspectives. These themes will be addressed through practice sessions. Students will be encouraged to make connections with their awareness of self in their personal and professional relationships.

Although this course is delivered twice, sometimes three times, a week, students attend just one course delivery each week. Once they have selected which day they wish to attend they must remain with that cohort. |
