Course description	5 CORE ROTATION BLOCKS, each 4 weeks, (20 weeks total) IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: Companion Animal Surgery including Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery, Small Animal Orthopaedics and Emergency and Critical Care Companion Animal Medicine including Oncology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine and Dermatology General Practice including Inglis Veterinary Group, Small Animal Anaesthesia, Exotics, Rabbit and Canine Neutering, Ophthalmology, Dick Vet Small Animal Practice (DVSAP including dedicated day to ophthalmology) Farm/Veterinary Public Health/Pathology/Epidemiology including Farm Animal Hospital, Farm Animal Practice, Herd and Flock Health, Veterinary Public Health, Pathology, Microbiology, Epidemiology Equine and Large Animal Anaesthesia including Equine Medicine, Equine Soft Tissue Surgery, Equine Orthopaedics, Equine Practice [DVEP],Cottage Duty and Large Animal Anaesthesia 4 weeks of free choice when EMS can be completed

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to: To build upon the previous years of didactic and clinical instruction by integrating the material into a clinical setting. To further develop practical surgical and medical clinical skills. To combine skills in history taking, clinical examination and in formulating a list of problems, differential diagnoses and problem solving. To develop further skills in verbal and written communication with instructors, with peers and with the animal owning public. To develop professional attitudes in the widest sense, including personal tidiness, maintenance of a clean and safe clinical environment and always considering patient welfare in every clinical decision.
