SummaryIndicative course content
To achieve a mature awareness and ability to embed a professional attitude in all methods of enquiry, output and presentation.

Aims of course
1 To demonstrate an advanced professionalism in the production, presentation and promotion of sculpture, research, drawing and visual thinking.
2 To professionally develop and present an updated personal documentation portfolio, CV and participate in development of a catalogue and website.
3 To work in a self-directed and highly professional manner and plan and execute work to established deadlines.

Mode of delivery
Presentations, lectures, crits, studio, workshop, events, talks, exhibitions, project spaces.
Course description Development and completionof all projects for final degree assessment.

Articulate critical position in relation to disseminatio of artistic work.

Pre-requisites Students MUST have passed: ( Studio 3 (Sculpture) (ARTX09037) AND Research, Drawing and Visual Thinking 3 (Sculpture) (ARTX09038) AND Professional Practice 3 (Sculpture) (ARTX09039) AND Art 3: Visual Research (ARTX09046))
Co-requisites Students MUST also take: ( Studio 4 (Sculpture) (ARTX10005) AND Research, Drawing and Visual Thinking 4 (Sculpture) (ARTX10006) AND Art 4: Research Project (ARTX10017)) OR ( Studio 4 (Sculpture) (ARTX10005) AND Research, Drawing and Visual Thinking 4 (20 credit Sculpture) (ARTX10008) AND Art 4: Extended Research Project (ARTX10018))
Prohibited Combinations Other requirements This course is only available to ECA students on degree programmes belonging to the School of Art.
Additional Costs ECA students are required to pay for the cost of materials used throughout their programme of study.
