Summary | Indicative course content
Working from a range of sources and with a wide range of drawing materials students will further examine the creative potential of drawing as an independent discipline. Students will further explore how drawing underpins the cross-disciplinary nature of the Combined Studies programme.
Aims of course
1 To increase understanding of the interrelationship between the finished work and the critical thinking and research undertaken as part of its development.
2 To further develop a personal expressive language and technical skills using a variety of drawing media.
3 To further develop skills in editing, presentation and display of work made using a range of drawing media.

- Display originality and competence in drawing through finished work and the research which supports it.
- Show evidence of a developing understanding of how drawing underpins the programme as a mandatory and essential skill, transferable between disciplines.
- Show competence and a considered approach to the selection and presentation of work for assessment at this level.
