Summary | The e-learning module will cover the following topics:
Theories of landscape planning, design, management and maintenance in different European countries (also in comparison to other countries)
Methods for analysing, rating, monitoring landscapes and their functions
Landscape narratives, diversified meanings of landscape (i.e. the language of landscape) and/or its multi-layered meanings
Knowledge of European natural, rural and urban landscapes (typologies of landscape), their evolution, and their environmental capacity
Cultural and historic knowledge of (European) landscapes

The course aims to experiment with group work for international background, both European and non-European; and to transfer knowledge of specific cultural landscape transformation and actual sustainable landscape economies
