Course description	This post-elementary course is normally intended for students who have successfully completed Foundation Italian Language 1 or Introductory Italian or have reached an equivalent standard (Standard Grade/GCSE).

Pre-requisites	It is RECOMMENDED that students have passed ( Foundation Italian Language 1 (ELCI07007) OR Foundation Italian Language 1 (ELCI07008))	Co-requisites

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
A course designed to develop students' grasp of the language at a post-elementary to CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) A2 level.

Assessment Information
Class work 50% (2 assessments). Degree exam 50% (a two-hour written examination)

This course is open to all students. DELC students may only take this course if it over and above their full credit load, as in a non credit bearing course.
