  • Notes: Entry to year 3 normally requires a pass at 50% or above at the first attempt in Scottish Literature 2. N.B. In selecting courses in 3rd and 4th Year, students must choose their courses with the relevant Scottish content from the list of English Literature courses which will be made available to them in the previous session.

  • Notes: Notes: Final Assessment: One unit of assessment is allocated to every 20 credits and constitutes one 20-credit paper. The following are the twelve 20-credit papers on which the classification of the degree is based. (Papers that for the purposes of degree classification acquire a weighting of 40 credits are, therefore, listed twice.)
    1. (Honours option for Scottish History). 2.(Honours option for Scottish History). 3. (English Literature honours 3 option course Semester 1). 4.(English Literature honours 3 option course Semester 2). 5.(A. Critical Practice: Criticism (10 credits) and B. Critical Practice: Poetry (10 credits) OR Honours option for Scottish History). 6.(A. Critical Practice: Prose (10 credits) and B. Critical Practice: Performance (10 credits) OR Honours option for Scottish History). 7.(Honours option for Scottish History). 8.(Honours option for Scottish History). 9.(English Literature honours 4 option course Semester 1). 10.(English Literature honours 4 option course Semester 2). 11. (Dissertation for English Literature or Scottish History). 12.(Dissertation for English Literature or Scottish History).
