Notes: Entry to Honours requires passes at 50% or above in 'Several Variable Calculus and Differential Equations' and 'Fundamentals of Pure Mathematics', or the permission of the Head of School of Mathematics. Students are normally required to obtain an average of 65% in Year 3 in order to progress to Year 4 of MMath.

Course choices in the final year are agreed with the School of Mathematics, so that they constitute a focussed programme of study.

NB. Courses labelled as 'postgraduate' in DRPS may not normally be taken as part of this programme - apart from those listed in the Course Options collection A, below. Postgraduate courses can be taken only with the permission of the Director of Teaching. This will not be given where there is substantial overlap with Mathematics courses already taken for credit.
