Notes: Entry into Honours normally requires (i) passes in all six subjects taken in the first two years, and (ii) a pass (40%) or above in History of Art 2 at the first attempt and a mark of 50% or above at the first attempt in the second year of the relevant Modern European Language course.
At least 30 weeks spent in the relevant country and prescribed work in History of Art and in the relevant language in an approved establishment.

Notes: Final Assessment: One unit of assessment is allocated to every 20 credits and constitutes one 20-credit paper. The following are the twelve 20-credit papers on which the classification of the degree is based. (Papers that for the purposes of degree classification acquire a weighting of 40 credits are, therefore, listed twice.). 1. (Italian 4 Honours Paper 1). 2. (Italian 4 Honours Paper 1). 3. (Italian 4 Honours Paper 2). 4. (Italian Oral). 5. (History of Art Analytical Report A and B). 6. (History of Art Analytical Report A and B). 7. (MEL Dissertation Preparation OR MEL Year Abroad Assessment (same mark as 8)). 8. (MEL Dissertation Completion OR MEL Long Essay). 9. (2 History of Art 3 or 4 Honours option). 10. (2 History of Art 3 or 4 Honours option). 11. (History of Art Analytical Report (Year 4)). 12. (Honours course option in Italian).
