Notes: Progression to Honours normally requires passes in all subjects taken in the first two years. A pass (40%) or above is required in History of Art 2 at the first attempt, and a mean mark of 50% or above in the combination of Architectural History 2A and Architectural History 2B, must also be achieved at the first examination diet.

Notes: Below you will see that there are 2 sections containing History of Art and Architectural History Honours courses. The first section lists the pre-1500 - 1850 courses and the second lists the post-1850 courses. History of Art and Architectural History 3 students must choose AT LEAST ONE COURSE FROM THE PRE-1500-1850 LIST. They may also take up to a maximum of THREE COURSES FROM THE POST-1850 LIST. Students should be taking 2 courses from these lists (if doing the Work Placement) and 4 courses if not doing the Work Placement. The courses should be as balanced as possible ie 1 course in both History of Art and Architectural History or 2 courses in each subject.

Notes: Following the section on the Dissertation, you will see that there are 2 sections containing History of Art and Architectural History Honours courses. The first section lists the pre-1500 -1850 courses and the second section lists the post-1850 courses. History of Art and Architectural History 4 students must choose AT LEAST ONE COURSE FROM THE PRE-1500-1850 LIST. They may also take up to a maximum of THREE COURSES FROM THE POST-1850 LIST. Students should be taking 4 courses (80 credits) in total, 2 of which should be in Architectural History and 2 of which should be in History of Art.
