  • Year 3, Academic year 2014/15, Starting month: August

  • Notes: Progression to year 4 normally requires passes in at least 100 credit points worth of courses, including "Resit for Professional Purposes", AND an average of 55% across all courses. See the year guide for full details.



  • Year 4, Academic year 2014/15, Starting month: August

  • Notes:
    1. Entry to fourth year MEng normally requires an average mark of 55% in third year, at the first attempt.
    2. Students are advised to consult with their Personal Tutor to ensure that their course selection results in a reasonable workload balance across the semesters.
    3. Progression to year 5 normally requires passes in at least 100 credit points worth of courses, including "Resit for Professional Purposes", AND an average of 40% across all courses. See the year guide for full details.
    4. Entry to the 4th year normally requires two or more prior years of instruction in a UK institution, or satisfactory completion of English language training as indicated by a TEAM test.



  • Year 5, Academic year 2014/15, Starting month: August

  • Notes: 1. Alternative courses may be taken with permission of the Head of School.

    2. Graduation normally requires passes in at least 100 credit points worth of courses, including "Resit for Professional Purposes", AND an average of 40% across all courses. See the year guide for full details.

    3. Sigma Delta Data Converters 5 is currently a 10 credit course, but will be changed to a 20 credit course before delivery in 2013/14.
