    As an alternative to the mathematics courses, students may take the Mathematics courses prescribed for the Year 1 programme of the Theoretical Physics MPhys degree.

    Progression to the final years of the Mphys programme requires no less than 55% overall in Junior Honours and a maximum of 20 failed credits (CAA). This is in addition to the general progression requirements
