Course description | Why does democracy work in some countries but not others? Why do similar institutions have different outcomes? How can a comparative approach help us to answer these questions? These are some of the issues students will explore in this course. Drawing on a wide range of ¿cases¿, this course will enable students to better understand debates surrounding key political processes and how to conduct comparative research. |

Pre-requisites | Visiting students should have at least 4 Politics/International Relations courses at grade B or above (or be predicted to obtain this). We will only consider University/College level courses.
