Course description | The primary interface between the computational biologist and the molecular system of interest is the molecular model. This module will expose the student to the computational methods involved in structure based drug design. In particular it will focus on the tools used to examine and investigate molecular models (the molecular graphics program) as well as the computational techniques used to evaluate and optimise models. Additionally it will address the problem of model generation when little or no prior experimental data are available. |
