Course description | Either PPD or PPD(B) is the core course for the MSc in Advancing Nursing Practice. Nursing and healthcare professionals are encouraged to be life long learners and to develop as reflective practitioners. The course provides the necessary skills and theoretical knowledge for students to develop into life long learners and enhance their practice This course enables students to realise their full potential by building on their strengths within their own professional practice
The course involves both practical and academic skills. Students are encouraged to engage with current IT used within education. The students will be introduced to a critical evaluation of current concepts used within nurse education today, examples are personal development and reflective practice. |

A written critical exploration of a subject of their choice related to professional and personal development with application to nursing/health care. Subject to the approval of the course organiser.
e.g The use of eportfolios in post graduate nursing
