Course description | Students undertake a supervised programme of orchestrations, building on the technical experience learned in the Orchestration course. They will be encouraged to range widely in terms of style of music orchestrated and forces used. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
- Students will have had experience of using a variety of orchestral techniques at an advanced level.
- They will have examined the orchestral works of major 19th and 20th century composers and learned to use these as models.
- They will also have moved beyond these models to use orchestration creatively. |
