Course description | Students will undertake a substantial piece of independent research in the field of literature and medicine, leading towards a portfolio of work totalling 8,000 words. The work will be conducted under the supervision of a member of staff in the department of English Literature. Students will meet collectively and individually with their supervisors at intervals throughout the year, and will be required to meet milestones at set points during the semesters, including the submission of a plan, an annotated bibliography, a note on methodology and an introductory overview. |
