Course description | The course aims to provide students who are already familiar with basic concepts of game theory with a deep understanding of the interaction between information & especially asymmetric information & and strategic interaction among people. As this topic lies at the heart of the intersection between the disciplines of informatics and economics, it is perfectly suited for the specialism. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
To learn how to frame strategic situations where people hold different information as Bayesian games.
To learn how to solve Bayesian games using the solution concepts of Bayesian Nash and Perfect Bayesian Equilibria.
To learn how to evaluate the efficiency of trading mechanisms.
To become familiar with the issues surrounding strategic communication.
