Course descriptionIn this course students will be introduced to basic research strategies appropriate to their specific discipline. Students will apply these methods to creatively inform and underpin their studio practice.

The aims of the course are:
1. To introduce students to key theories, practices, contexts and debates in relation to their discipline.
2. To enable students to develop a body of research informed by an introduction to historical and contemporary creative practice, and user/audience needs
3. To develop students¿ abilities in the critical analysis and reflective appraisal of set research themes.
