Course description | The course is part of a programme that prepares postgraduates who will have completed an M Clin Dent Degree of the University of Edinburgh or equivalent to apply for the Tricollegiate Membership in Paediatric Dentistry Examination conducted jointly by the Royal Colleges of Surgeons in England, Edinburgh and the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Learning outcomes
¿ To be able to present a review of the current dental literature pertaining to a particular research question
¿ To be able to select a range of methods of enquiry when researching the dental literature
¿ To present standardized case reports of treated cases To be able to present a clinical case in a logical sequence
¿ To have knowledge and critical understanding of the essential theories, principles and concepts of evidence based dentistry and its application in clinical treatment.
