Course description | Indicative course content
With this module you will research, develop, document and publicly present a personal practice. Intermedia is an expanded notion of artistic practice. New processes and situations combine with existing possibilities to provide new contexts for artistic practice that is no longer base upon a particular medium, but is rather a hybrid of many. A defining aspect of Intermedia is that it views visual production perhaps beyond the confines of the white cube gallery context.
Aims of course
1 Provide a credible basis for an enduring praxis which utilises skills acquired from previous modules.
2 Critically assess and situate individual work within contemporary contexts.
