To develop an understanding of methods of information gathering, and the collection of visual resources appropriate to the discipline. The development of visual material through a wide range of approaches to drawing, as a way of initiating a personal perspective to practice
Aims of course
1 To engage in specialist drawing and research in relation to art practice.
2 To develop methodology of research in drawing through studio practice and self directed study
3 To test materials and processes to gain skills and knowledge towards visualization of ideas

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Demonstrate an ability to locate and order visual information from one or more direct sources, exercising initiative and planning.
2. Evaluate visual information and synthesise ideas through drawing and other constructed images.
3. Identify and test appropriate methods to communicate ideas. |
