Course descriptionIndicative course content
To introduce a professional awareness and application to methods of making, developing and the presentation of studio work. To develop documentation and communication skills, establishing a CV and professional portfolio of documented work.

Aims of course
1 To establish appropriate presentation, communication and documentation skills in the production and presentation of sculpture, research, drawing and visual thinking.
2 To appropriately select and use a range of documentation processes to record and present studio practice.


Mode of delivery
Studio, Workshop, lectures, exhibitions, talks, events, crits, tutorials, presentations.
Entry Requirements (not applicable to Visiting Students)
Pre-requisites Co-requisites Students MUST also take: Studio 2 (Sculpture) (ARTX08016) AND Research, Drawing and Visual Thinking 2 (Sculpture) (ARTX08017) AND Art 2: Postmodernism and After (ARTX08025) AND Contemporary Art Practice (AREA08001)
Prohibited Combinations Other requirements This course is only available to ECA students on degree programmes belonging to the School of Art.
