Additional Information
Academic description |
This is the fourth of the Research Methodologies and Reflective Practice courses. It aims to encourage students to find out more about the professional art/design world with particular consideration of issues such as ethics and accountability. The Reflective Practice element of the course asks students to contextualise their art/design work by making a presentation which sets their work alongside the work of professional artists and designers. The Studentship aspect encourages students to participate in group activities with their peer group and to reflect on the learning gained through working in this way. As a whole, the course helps students to be more outward looking in order to gain a greater understanding of the professional context in which they will soon be working. |
