Course description | This is a core course for the MSc Dementia: International Experience, Policy and Practice. It is also available as a standalone CPD course.
This course is delivered entirely online.
The course aims to provide students the opportunity to critically analyse theory and practice behind different approaches to leadership with the aim of improving person centred dementia care in practice.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:

2. A critical understanding of the main approaches to leadership and relate to their own situation
3. An appreciation of the challenges and opportunities of leading in health or social care settings

Assessment Information
There are three elements to assessment for this course.
Contribution to online discussion forum at intervals during the course, 20%
Small group work as part of an online project, 40%
End of course essay, 40% (2000 $ú 2500 words)
