Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course the students will understand :
- The use of stem cells in modelling disease processes
- The use of autologous versus allogeneic stem cells
- How clinical processes differ from academic research, in the areas of GMP, QA and scale
- How legislation and regulatory bodies affect the production and delivery of stem cell based products

In course assessment (100%)
Each student will produce 3 written critiques of specified key scientific papers in the relevant subject area and will present these critiques in a moderated discussion. Each critique will be a maximum length of 2000 words.
