Indicative course content
In this course students will be introduced to basic research methods appropriate to their specific discipline. Students will apply these methods to creatively inform and underpin their studio practice.
Aims of course
1 introduce basic research methods, techniques and approaches
2 enable students to develop a body of research informed by an introduction to historical and contemporary creative practice, and user/audience needs
3 develop students critical analysis and reflective appraisal of set research themes
