Course description | The course aims to provide knowledge and laboratory skills in areas of animal sciences with current and immediate relevance. The area to be covered will be chosen from fields of expertise and international eminence at the Roslin Institute, which include developmental biology, embryology and reproduction, stem cells and transgenesis, infection and immunity, neurodegenerative disease, avian model systems. |

- have experience of relevant laboratory techniques;
- understand how this knowledge might be used in industry;
- understand the ethical issues raised by the field studied.
