Course description | Bioinformatics depends heavily on bespoke programming to achieve analyses of extensive datasets. These programs can be written in a variety of languages, and several languages have specialised 'bio' repositories of code that are directly applicable to bioinformatic problems. This course introduces students to building programs in the language perl, and deploying them in real-world bioinformatics environments. |
