Course description | Students will continue to have fortnightly lessons. An individual research project on a topic related to the keyboard repertory or to the history of early keyboard instruments will inform their playing. Students will cover both solo playing and continuo work as part of their study. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students will have worked with one teacher on a programme appropriate to this level. At the end of this semester students will have been prepared to give a 45 min. recital. Their complementary studies in Keyboard Organology will have informed their playing, as will issues of historical performance practice.

Assessment Information
Assessment of Early Keyboard Performance will be by a 45-minute recital to be given towards the end of April. The main part of the programme should be solo repertory, but some continuo playing will be required; details of this will be decided in consultation with the Course Organiser. |
