Course description | Students carry out original research on an approved 12-week project in an approved laboratory. It is permissible for this to be an extension of the same project and/or in the same laboratory as Research Training 1. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
To acquire skills in design of experiments and methods and techniques as used for research using imaging approaches. To become fluent with good laboratory practice. To make appropriate quantitative and/or statistical analysis of imaging data. To analyse and present the imaging data of published work or conference proceedings. |

Assessment by supervisor (30%) Oral presentation (70%)
From 2010/11 Assessement will be:
