Course description | This course covers two general areas: 1) Morphophonology: ways in which phonological processes (final devoicing, vowel harmony, assimilation, and so on) affect the shapes of morphemes in particular languages, and 2) Laboratory Phonology: how phonetic evidence can be used to answer theoretical phonological questions. |
