Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Review the pathophysiology and anatomy of musculoskeletal disorders affecting the hand and wrist
2. demonstrate and awareness of the presentation and management of work related hand disorders; Detailed knowledge of surgical approach to digits with particular regard for restoration of function
3. Critically appraise the procedures employed in diagnosis and management of hand disorders
4. ability to manage common hand infections
5. Apply a constant and integrated approach to critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new and complex ideas, information and issues. Knowledge of specific traumatic injuries to the hand. |
