Course description | Second semester. This post-introductory course is normally intended for students who have successfully completed Introductory Spanish (ELCH07001 or ELCH07002) or have reached an equivalent standard (Standard Grade/GCSE).
All students take all elements of assessment, including the examination. |

Other requirements | A pass at 50% or above in Introductory Spanish or Spanish at Standard Grade or equivalent evidence of proficiency. No students on programmes owned by DELC will be admitted. |

Following Introductory Spanish, this course will further develop your knowledge of the language in a wide variety of situations using more complex vocabulary and grammar. |
Assessment Information
Regular written exercises in class and two class tests (weeks 4 and 8), worth 40% and a degree exam worth 60%. |
Special Arrangements
This course is open to all students. DELC students may only take this course if it over and above their full credit load, as in a non credit bearing course. |
