Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
This course is taught in discrete sections which have differing learning outcomes. The enterprise initiative is designed to give students practise team working in a professional level context and analysing complex problems where information is limited and/or comes from a range of sources. The enterprise initiative also develops student's skills in making presentations, decision making and knowing how to critically approach the literature.
The final year field course further develops student's field skills so that they have a detailed knowledge and understanding of key field practises as well as a critical understanding of their value. Fieldwork represents further experience of making decisions where data is limited or comes from a range of sources as well as being a professional level context with an inherent degree of unpredictability. |
