Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students will be expected to:
&·undertake a range of clinical procedures for all patient groups utilising skills acquired in Years 1,2 and Semester 1, 3rd Year
&·be competent at completing a range of procedures in restorative dentistry
&·be competent at completing a range of procedures in paediatric dentistry
&·be familiar with the options for replacing teeth, including both intra- and extra- coronal, plastic and cast restorations, fixed and removable prostheses and dental implants
&·be familiar with procedures pertaining to specialist treatment of conditions relating to prosthodontics, periodontics, oral medicine, orthodontics, paediatrics, oral surgery and dental radiology
