Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
- Explore specific self-selected topics in depth
- Recognise the importance of, and develop communication skills between team members, supervisors and other professionals
- Develop team working skills, using the skills of the group effectively to select and assign aspects of work and to produce the final project.
- Develop an approach to learning based on curiosity and exploration rather than passive acquisition
- Develop time and resource management skills
- Learn and utilise informatics skills to search, communicate, collect and store data and prepare a poster presentation
- Develop a questioning, self-critical approach
- Evaluate by reflection on your own personal and professional development
- Demonstrate awareness of guidelines relating to plagiarism and copyright of images when gathering materials for a poster presentation
- Reference information sources for a poster presentation in an appropriate and professional manner, adhering to relevant standard scientific conventions.

Group project - 100%
There will be three parts to the assessment:
¿ A group mark based on the on-line Prezi and a group Question/Answer session (50% of total marks available)
¿ Peer assessment marks which must average to group mark (50% of total marks available)
¿ An individual Reflective summary (a pass requirement but not marked)
