Course description | Indicative course content
This module is designed for eca students taking part on exchange and encompasses their studies undertaken either before or after their exchange. Students work on a series of projects of differing time-frames and complexity within and outwith the studio. Students are encouraged to collect and analyse research that is creatively informed and critically aware, to enable the development of an integrated iterative process incorporating researching,making, evaluating, presenting and reflection.
Aims of course
1 To clearly identify and select areas of individual interest and develop a personal visual language.
2 Develop a a range of appropriate methods of production that utilise a combination of personal approches and relevant knowledge of current practice.
3 Explore a range of appropriate methods of articulation of studio practice through presentation and documentation.
