| Course description | The course is designed to enable students to acquire skills in Christian moral reasoning, and successfully to mobilise such skills in relation to contemporary moral controversies such as the patenting of life or the moral status of animals. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will have acquired:-
1. elementary skills in the analysis and interpretation of morally significant texts in Holy Scripture;
2. familiarity with some major moral concepts in the Western Christian tradition as deployed in major texts;
3. an ability to deploy ordered moral exposition and argument.
