Course description | This course will develop work previously undertaken in Year 1. In the area of Skill Acquisition and Motor Control students will be exposed to recent theoretical perspectives and practical experience in the area of Perceptual-Motor Development. Students will be encouraged to develop their understanding of research issues and the research process associated with this area. Biochemistry of Sport and Exercise will introduce students to the integrative nature of energy production. They will be required to critically appraise exercise activity, and the demands of particular activities. The concepts responsible for the development of physical performance will enable critical approval of established practice. |
