Course description | The course will focus on the neural networks in the brain that are concerned with the control of eye movements and the stabilization of gaze, and the maintenance of balance and posture. Factors which underlie disorders of balance, and the mechanisms of plasticity in the cerebellum and brainstem which may lead to functional recovery ('motor learning'), will be discussed. The course will consist of seminars, research literature discussions and presentations by students. |
